Welcome to Hold Fast Strength!

I'd like to welcome you to our first web page/blog for Hold Fast Strength. It's a quaint garage gym located in the Monterey, CA area. The gym itself is completely outfitted with everything you might need for a full strength cycle or athletic conditioning . As far as our web presence, I am still getting things up and running with our social media accounts and an actual website - until then this (and our Facebook page) will be the central hub of information for Hold Fast Strength.

Why Hold Fast? Some people may not be familiar with  the term Hold Fast. As a nautical term, it means to secure (hold) tightly (fast) a line or anchor. As a sailor, this is a term I am very familiar with in a work setting, but I also feel that it goes beyond its intended definition:

To continue to believe in or adhere to an idea or principle.

We Hold Fast (ha see what I did there?!) to the belief that you shouldn't have to put up with inexperienced coaching, over crowded, outdated/ dirty equipment and over programmed gyms.
